Alfriston Festival update

I've just remembered that I haven't shared our success at the Alfriston Festival! We had a lot of visitors making kind comments - and quite a few even bought! We took just under £300 and were delighted to donate £30 (plus the Gift Aid) to the JPK Sussex Project - such a fantastic local charity raising money to build the much needed Supported Living Centre for adults with learning difficulties. Fun with acrylics and tiles

My lovely niece, Amy, and I had a great experimental arty morning on Wednesday with acrylics on white tiles. We had lots of fun and managed to produce some colourful results. I really love Amy's 'Sunset over the Sea'. It must be Cobo beach in Guernsey!

PhotoPaperDirect has included an article which features Summerlands Art on its blog page! We used some A4 and A5 260g greeting cards from the company to print our range of greeting cards and examples of these are featured in the blog.

Raising funds for a local charity

For the last two Monday evenings our choir, Concentus Chorale, has kindly allowed us to display our paintings, photographs, name designs, Words and Images and cards for sale. We really enjoyed this and were proud to donate 25% of takings to JPK (http://www.jpkproject.co.uk/), an incredible local charity which raises funds to build and maintain residential premises for adults with learning disabilities.
